Montenegro: Damir Mandić transferred to pre-trial detention after serving prison sentence
Damir Mandić, a resident of Podgorica, served a prison sentence to which he was sentenced for complicity in the murder of the editor-in-chief of the Podgorica daily Dan, Duško Jovanović, but was immediately transferred to the pre-trial detention center by a decision of the Higher Court, due to the indictment in the "General" case.

Montenegro has frozen the assets of former Motol Hospital deputy Pavel Budinsky at the request of the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO). These include a villa near the seaside resort of Tivat and shares in a company registered in Montenegro. Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) reported this today, citing a Montenegrin court ruling.
