More than 50 undocumented Haitians are detained on different beaches in the country.

More than 50 Haitians with irregular immigration status were detained during operations carried out on different Dominican beaches by members of the Dominican Navy. A press release from the institution establishes that 23 Haitians were arrested by members of the Playa Chiquita Naval Detachment, in the province of Azua, while they were traveling on land routes in the vicinity of the beach, between the towns of Hatillo and Palmar de Ocoa.
