New container terminal to start operating in Rijeka soon

The new Rijeka Gateway container terminal in the Port of Rijeka is entering the final phase of construction. It is expected to start operating in the fall, and during a tour last week, Croatian Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure Oleg Butković emphasized that it is one of the most modern terminals in this part of Europe, according to Croatian media reports.
