New trial date set for ex-BUSD teacher accused of child molestation

A former Benicia Unified school teacher accused of child molestations will face a newly rescheduled November jury trial in Solano County Superior Court. Matthew Joseph Shelton, 43, appeared April 21 in Department 15 in Vallejo for a trial management conference in the Justice Building, where he faces 12 felony counts of lewd acts on four children under 14.
