Independent candidate for the presidential elections, Nicushor Dan, claims that he maintains his position of neutrality in the debate between the progressive and conservatives, arguing that Romania needs a mediator in a polarised society. In a moderate debate by Cosmin Nedelcu (Micutzu), he stated that he had no discussion with Laura Kodruza Kovesi and that the only interaction with it took place 7-8 years ago, in a courtroom.

The independent candidate for the Romanian Presidency, Nicushor Dan, said Wednesday night that he proposed to marry his partner, Mihaela Grádinuru, in the electoral campaign, but refused. He explained that this would happen in a quiet moment for the family.
