N.J. lawyer stole more than $100K from her deceased client’s estate, authorities say
Authorities have charged a lawyer accused of stealing more than $100,000 from a dead client’s estate fund. Kathleen M. Cehelsky, 60, of Spring Lake Heights, was served with the charges of second-degree misapplication of entrusted property and fourth-degree false uttering and forgery earlier this week, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement on Thursday.
