Colonials Fall to No. 5 Florida State in Tallahassee Regional Opener - Robert Morris University Athletics
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The RMU softball team dropped their opening game of the Tallahassee Regional to the host and No. 5 national seed, Florida State, by a score of 10-1 in five innings. With the loss, the Colonials' overall record now stands at 30-17. RMU will look to keep their tournament run alive when they face Auburn in an elimination game on Saturday, May 17 at 3:30 PM.
No. 5 Seminoles Run Past Robert Morris in Tallahassee Regional - Florida State University
TALLAHASSEE - The fifth-seeded Florida State softball team (47-9) cruised to a 10-1 victory in five innings over Robert Morris (30-17) in its opening game of the Tallahassee Regional. FSU advanced to play USF in tomorrow's regional semifinal at 1 p.m. FSU has now won 12 consecutive regional-opening games dating back to 2013.
