Allegheny County's $20M plan to combat opioid crisis includes housing, jail treatment program
Allegheny County has announced plans to spend a $20 million opioid lawsuit payout. Officials said Thursday the county will invest heavily in opioid use disorder treatment programs at the jail as well as increase recovery housing options.
