LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Police are investigating a shooting near Paradise Road and Twain Avenue. According to Las Vegas Metropolitan police, the shooting was reported just before 11 a.m. in the 800 block of E. Twain, near University Center Drive. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a person suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. That person was taken to Sunrise Hospital, police said. Police urge people to avoid the area.

LAS VEGAS.-A shooting, recorded Thursday morning on the 800th block of East Twain Avenue, is currently being investigated by officers of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police (LVMPD). The shooting was reported at approximately 10:57 a.m., when officers located the injured person, who was transferred to the critical Sunrise Hospital.
