Police Seized 40 Weapons During National Traffic Week

Police officers from Dolenjska and Bela Krajina have recently received several complaints from citizens who were bothered by the speeding and reckless driving of moped drivers, so they carried out stricter surveillance last week. In six cases, they found that the mopeds had been modified.

During week 19, the police carried out the national traffic week with the theme "road crime". The results included that over 10,000 vehicles were checked and the police found 40 objects that were registered as weapons in the East Police Region.

The police investigation into the case is nearing completion.
