Twenty-five percent of displaced refugees and migrants in Latin America say their lives would be at risk if they returned to their places of origin, according to research by the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), and other partners within the framework of the ProLAC Initiative. According to the report, people fleeing violence in Latin America face movement restrictions, exploitation, and various barriers to asylum.
