Punk band show at Veterans Hall sparks controversy over accusations of Nazi ties
Scottish punk band The Exploited is causing controversy ahead of a concert at downtown Santa Cruz's Veterans Memorial Building on Friday night after some community members accused the band’s lead singer, Wattie Buchan, of supporting Nazi and far-right ideologies. The band denies the allegations. Vets Hall refused to cancel the concert, saying it supports free expression, and encouraged protesters to come to the event.
