Michelin: 9 Quebec Restaurants Awarded Stars in Province’s First-Ever Guide

The Mayor of Quebec, Bruno Marchand, said he was extremely proud of the presence of several restaurants on the prestigious Michelin Guide list.

Nine Quebec restaurants were awarded prestigious Michelin stars in the first-ever Quebec food and travel guide unveiled Thursday.

The Michelin Guide presented this afternoon the 2025 selection dedicated to Quebec. The restaurant La Tanière received two Michelin Stars.

The long-awaited selection of the Michelin Guide for Quebec was revealed and the province received 10 stars. Two of these were awarded to La Vieux Capitale's Lanière, a large experiential table. Eight restaurants shared the others, including four from Quebec City, three from Montreal and one from Rimouski.

The Michelin Guide has distributed its precious stars to 9 Quebec restaurants, including no less than 2 for the Lanière3 restaurant in Quebec City.
