Records reveal troubled past of man arrested in Vista woman's death

A man with a troubled past was arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found in a Vista home, where he held SWAT officers at bay for several hours Wednesday. Officers held Malcolm Pope, 26, at gunpoint outside a home on North Citrus Avenue. Video of the arrest shows Pope leaving the home wearing an old-fashioned soldier's helmet.
