Rector Voters Approve Millage for New High School

Rector School District voters passed a millage request yesterday that will be used to build a new high school. According to the Clay County Clerk, the vote was 259-38. The current high school was built in 1974.

Rainier Beach High School students, teachers and staff walked out of an aging 60-year-old brick building for spring break and returned a week later on April 21 to a brand new 297,000-square-foot school next door.
