As shuttle bus service ends, transit agency says REM can be trusted

The shuttle buses that have been running parallel to the REM since February stop operating as of Monday. The regional transit agency and the REM's developer say they're confident the light-rail train service can be trusted.

Bus shuttles put into service to compensate for the EMN's multiple failures during the winter will be removed on Monday.

The metro express network replacement shuttles (REMs) will be removed as of Monday. However, closures of the REM are planned during the weekend and this summer, where they will have to be put in place again.

ARTM ends bus shuttles replacing the REM

The bus shuttle service put in place by the ARTM to replace the REM will be discontinued as of Monday as the REM seems to be doing better, and snow or ice storms are unlikely for the moment.
