Remains of man reported missing in 2017 found in remote part of Plumas County

The remains of a man who was reported missing nearly a decade ago were found in a remote part of Plumas County last week, the sheriff's office said.

Human remains found in Plumas County identified as William Millard, who has been missing since 2017

The Plumas County Sheriff's Office says the remains of Millard were found about half a mile from his broken-down car, which had been discovered years earlier near Jackson Creek.
