The history of the event dates back to 1921, when National Hospital Day was first established to build public trust in hospitals following the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic.

Resolution recognizing National Hospital Week passed by Senate

The Senate May 15 unanimously passed a bipartisan resolution recognizing National Hospital Week, May 11-17. The resolution was sponsored by Sens.
