River Global asset management CEO departs

River Global asset management CEO Alex Hoctor-Duncan has announced his departure from the firm. Over Hoctor-Duncan’s three-and-a-half years in the role, he helped to oversee the firm’s rebrand from AssetCo, which completed earlier this year. Current head of equities Matt Hudson (pictured) will take over as CIO of River Global Investors, and will assume Hoctor-Duncan’s regulatory and management responsibilities for the firm’s asset management arm…

River Global – a new name since March of the AssetCo asset management structure chaired by Martin Gilbert – announced the departure of its managing director, Alex Hoctor-Duncan. L的 interested, passed by Aberdeen, had joined the structure in 2022 as managing director of the British management company River and Mercantile, acquired by AssetCo. Alex Hoctor-Duncan will delay his duties in the coming months.
