Road work on Old Woman Springs starts Sunday

YUCCA VALLEY — A $21.9 million paving project on Old Woman Springs Road will start Sunday, May 18. Drivers will run into delays during work hours, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Work on Old Woman Springs Road begins on Sunday (5/18)

Starting Sunday, May 18, Caltrans will begin a pavement rehabilitation and shoulder widening project on Old Woman Springs Road  from the State Route 62 junction to Gin Road. Work will take place nightly from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, and is expected to continue through fall 2025.
