An opposition Rotherham councillor has urged the local authority to “get back to basics” by focusing on street-level services like public bin collections, amid concerns about overflowing bins in parts of the borough.

This comes after Post Office Ltd announced a five-year transformation plan last month, which includes offloading their remaining 108 directly-owned branches in the autumn to independent businesses.
