Rui Neto Went From “Almost” to European Hockey Champion in His “Happy Return” to Barcelos

The Roller Hockey Champions League title, won by Òquei de Barcelos last Sunday, signaled the greatest achievement of coach Rui Neto's career, in his second stint at the Minho club. The historic victory against FC Porto, in Matosinhos, achieved in a penalty shootout, after a 1-1 draw at the end of extra time, allowed the Barcelos team to be crowned European champions for the second time in their history – the first had been in 1990/91.
