Kenyan women hired as domestic workers in Saudi Arabia suffer harsh, abusive and discriminatory working conditions, often similar to forced labour and trafficking in human beings, Amnesty International wrote in a new report, explaining that employers subject these women in private homes to extreme forms of exploitation, often encouraged by racism, and that domestic workers continue to be excluded from labour law and timid reforms in Saudi Arabia.
