Contract Renewed: Mulder Remains on Schalke

Former footballer Youri Mulder will remain director of football affairs at his former club Schalke 04 until the summer of 2027. The 56-year-old Mulder was appointed on an interim basis in November until the end of the season at the club, which plays in the second tier in Germany.

Youri Mulder remains professional football director at the football second division Schalke 04. As the club from Gelsenkirchen announced on Friday, the 56-year-old signed a contract until June 2027. Mulder had been acting as interim manager since November 2024.

FC Schalke 04 and Youri Mulder have decided to continue the cooperation in the coming years.
