Six Suspected Police Officers Are Arrested for Extortion of Bs 800,000 And

The president of the National Disciplinary Tribunal, General Edgar Cortez, reported that those involved are prosecuted for serious breaches of Law 101, which regulates the disciplinary regime of the Bolivian Police.

The Prosecutor's Office ordered the arrest of six alleged police personnel from the Directorate for the Prevention and Investigation of Vehicle Robbery (Diprove) of El Alto, who were reported for extorting a woman to extract Bs 800,000 and $3,000 from her.
