Somalia's Hormuud Telecom Signs Digital Economy MOU With Germany's GIZ

Mogadishu -- Somalia's largest telecommunications provider, Hormuud Telecom, and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) signed an agreement on Tuesday to develop an inclusive digital economy in Somalia and the wider East African region.

Meghalaya, Starlink Ink MoU to Boost Connectivity, Reduce Digital Divide

The Meghalaya government has signed an MoU with Starlink India to improve internet services across the state, especially in remote and difficult to reach areas. Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma shared the news on social media, calling it a major step towards closing connectivity gaps. He said satellite-based technology will help overcome difficult terrain and expand digital access statewide.
