The start of work on the new tram section, along Konrad Adenauer Boulevard in Kirchberg, was launched this Friday, May 16, with excavators, cameras and large piles of sand.

A groundbreaking ceremony can hardly be more symbolic: with heavy equipment, a large pile of sand was tipped onto the road between the Court of Justice of the European Union and the European Investment Bank (BEI) – as a photogenic setting for those responsible for Luxtram and representatives of politics.
