The demolition of the Aurea E. Quiles Claudio High School in Guánica will be completed in November 2025, and reconstruction will continue in 2026.

The Áurea L. Quiles Claudio school in Guánica, severely affected by the earthquakes of 2020, began its demolition process this Friday. The structure will give way to a new modern and resilient campus that will house 402 students from the Áurea Quiles and Agripina Seda schools.
