State Track Notes: Scott Clark leads Berthoud on meet’s second day
LAKEWOOD — Distance runner Scott Clark led a good day for Berthoud athletes with a second-place finish in the Class 3A boys 3,200 meters at the state track and field meet Friday at Jeffco Stadium. Clark actually led for most of the race before being passed by a couple of runners with only a couple of laps to go. He was able to catch one of them and crossed the line second in 9 minutes, 48.35 seconds, his best individual finish at the state meet.…
