"Sumela" Solution to Heavy Traffic in Uzungol

In order to prevent vehicle queues and heavy traffic in Uzungöl, a famous touristic center in Trabzon, a large parking area and a ring system like in Sumela Monastery are planned to be implemented. Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç said, "We want to make parking there with the ring system like in Sumela Monastery and make Uzungöl more peaceful."
