The Navigator Kevin Escoffier Will Be Tried in March 2026 for Sexual Assault

Lorient's prosecution confirmed that the skipper would be tried in correctional after four complaints against him. One of the attacks allegedly took place in May 2023 in the United States, on a woman who worked on his team.

The 45-year-old skipper is referred to the Lorient Correctional Court and will be tried in March 2026.

The skipper will be tried for alleged sexual assaults on four complainants.

Kevin Escoffier is sent back to prison for sexual assault, the Agence France Presse learned this Friday. The skipper malouin had been suspended in October 2023 by the Fédération française de voile after being charged.
