The European Union exported alcohol worth almost 30 billion euros to the world last year.
The European Union Member States exported alcoholic beverages worth €29.8 billion in 2024, an increase of 10.9 percent since 2019 (€26.9 billion). According to Eurostat data, wine from fresh grapes, including fortified wines, dominated exports last year, accounting for 56.2 percent (€16.8 billion) of all alcoholic beverages.
