No persecution or impunity, says Armenta for Edil

Puebla, Pue., Nepotism, extortion, kidnapping and illegal carrying of firearms are some illegals that authorities accuse Gerardo Cortés Caballero, an edil morenista of Cuautempan, municipality of the Sierra Norte of Puebla, who, presumably, is at large after several falls to its properties.

Puebla, Mexico.- After searches and discovery of drugs and firearms in the home of Gerardo Cortés Caballero, Mayor of Cuautempan (PT-Morena), the Governor of Puebla, Alejandro Armenta, asked that the investigations be conducted without persecution or impunity. Armenta said that, although he knows the Edil reported as a fugitive, he cannot affirm or deny his participation in various crimes that led to the operations against him since last May 9.
