The Khatib family had just returned from a holiday from Italy when Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu authorised a series of surprise attacks on key military and nuclear facilities in Iran. Instead of its target destination, the missile landed on top of the Khatibs’ home in Tamra, 25 kilometres away.
