Unions from all sectors of Tierra del Fuego announced a total stoppage throughout the province for May 21 in rejection of the lowering of tariffs provided by the government of President Javier Milei. The measure will be “in defense of sovereignty, jobs and national industry”, indicated the nucleated guilds in the General Confederation of Labour (CGT) and in ATE. For his part, the governor, Gustavo Melella, said: “We will be with the workers”.
