Russians Demand Withdrawal of Ukrainians From Four Authorities, Kyiv Refuses
The first direct negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations since 2022 ended in Istanbul after about an hour and a half. Negotiators from both sides announced that they had agreed on an exchange of prisoners of war and that they had discussed a ceasefire and a possible meeting of the heads of state.
