Unplanned outage leaves customers without power
According to Westario Power, there has been an Unplanned Outage for customers in Port Elgin and Southampton due to “Loss of Supply” from the transmission network. Approximately 7,000 customers in Saugeen First Nation, Southampton and Port Elgin toward Burgoyne have been affected. Hydro One transmission network has indicated an estimate time of return to power at 1:45p.m. (13:45)
