The Trump administration is pulling some funding for the Maine Department of Corrections over a trans inmate,  U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said in an interview Tuesday.

However, a notification letter to the Maine Department of Corrections didn't mention transgender prisoners. Instead, the Department of Justice said the grants were canceled because they no longer reflect the Trump administration's priorities.
