Rome, N.Y. — A man has died at a Utica hospital following a possible assault, troopers said Thursday.Mark A. Capparelli, 56, of Rome, died at Wynn Hospital, state police spokesperson Trooper Robert Girard said today.

ROME — The victim in the reported assault on Elmer Hill Road on May 10 has been identified as 56-year-old Mark A. Capparelli — who has since died from his injuries, according to the New York State Police.
