BREGENZ/DORNBIRN. Head of State Markus Wallner was chosen as the national party chairman of the Vorarlberg People's Party for the fourth time on Saturday in Dornbirn. He received 97.56 percent of the delegates' votes at the 43rd Ordinary State Party Congress.

The Vorarlberg People's Party and the Vorarlberg Greens will elect their new party leaders on Saturday. No surprises are expected: Governor Markus Wallner is the sole candidate for the ÖVP, facing his fourth re-election. He will deliver a "Vorarlberg speech." The Greens' leadership duo, Daniel Zadra and Eva Hammerer, are running for re-election, and they too are unopposed.
