The six hunters prosecuted for unauthorized hunting in a meeting, at night, with the use of a vehicle and carrying a weapon, were released by the Judicial Court of Châteauroux on 30 April. The merits of the case was not even examined, the defence lawyers demonstrated a defect in the proceedings.
