Rhein-Sieg-Kreis approves wind turbines in Bornheim

The Rhein-Sieg-Kreis has now approved six wind turbines for Bornheim. They are to be built on the Ville-Rücken in the next two years, previously permits for the routes and power lines have to be obtained.

Making a wind turbine is not carbon neutral. So the engineers are looking for solutions to lower this footprint. An idea: designing wooden wind turbine towers.
