Memphis Public Libraries celebrated the grand opening of their new 23,000-square-foot library on James Road. It will feature learning centers, a media production room, a game room with a 100-inch TV, community rooms and more.

The new Frayser branch library opened Thursday, May 15, to a standing-room-only crowd of more than 100 people at 2220 James Road, replacing the city’s smallest branch library farther north in Frayser.
