AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 44) – The Fentanyl Child Endangerment Act, HB 166, was sent to Governor Greg Abbott on Tuesday after passing the Texas Senate late last week by a 30-1 vote. The legislation was developed in coordination with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office and makes it a felony to expose children or elderly or disabled adults to fentanyl and its derivatives. Woman driving intoxicated with a child and fentanyl in vehicle arrested

A Grand Forks woman is being held at the Otter Tail County Detention Center following her arrest on May 10, for possessing four grams of fentanyl, as well as other charges, while having a child in the vehicle with her.
