Mexican Doctors Warn of More Cases of Hypertension at an Early Age

Guadalajara (Mexico), May 17 (EFE).- Arterial hypertension at an early age is a rising trend in Mexico, caused largely by overweight, obesity and sedentary lifestyles during childhood and adolescence.According to data from the National Health and Nutrition Survey (ENSANUT), almost half of the adults in Mexico live with this chronic degenerative disease, whose prevalence doubled in two decades.
