Worthington couple summoned to appear in court for grocery theft

WORTHINGTON — A summons has been issued for Gary, 74, and Judy Gerdes, 73, of Worthington, on felony charges of theft following incidents that took place from Oct. 1, 2024 through March 30 at a local grocery store. According to the complaint, a security director at the grocery store reported to law enforcement on March 12 that there had been 65 thefts from the store during the six-month period.
