Young climate activists take Portugal to court

Four of the six young people involved in the “Duarte Agostinho and Others vs. Portugal and Others” case will file a complaint against Portugal in search of goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Seven members of the activist group "Last Generation" had created a middle traffic chaos in December 2023 with a blockade on Kaldenkirchener Straße. Due to coercion, they were now in front of the local court of Mönchengladbach.
