Buffalo · BuffaloMayor Christopher Scanlon held a news conference this morning to announce that the City of Buffalo will initiate legal proceedings under Article 19 of Real Property Actions and Proceedings Law to take ownership of the Buffalo Grand Hotel on Church Street. Brooklyn-based Pennrose NY Developer LLC was selected in April 2023 to bring a mixed-use project to the long-vacant two-acre site at Canalside.
